BRAND TRANSPARENCY

If you want loyal consumers, then you need to build a transparent brand.

The days of corporate secrecy or indeed any secrecy are over. Brands steps and missteps are increasingly exposed and judged by online spiderweb of global consumers – around 1 billion of them.

You and I become part of that movement when we write a critical online review or post a Facebook comment complaining about a company’s customer service.

A tweet or comment can attract others with a similar view and put pressure on a brand. The transparent power of the internet is merciless.

Today, brand transparency is a business imperative.

When consumers find a brand they feel they can trust, they're likely to stick with that brand for the long-term.

  1. So true.... Brand ethics are so important... I remember I had to tweet about Samsung when no one was listening to my requests from the customer care team... They need to understand the importance and power of customer feedback and need for tramspiracy !
