Skeletons have moved from the closet to doors – it’s the space where clothes go to suffer while they wait for laundry day.

This I guess is one area that gets ignored in almost every home.

Here’s a three-step back-of-the-door makeover:

1. Ditch the ubiquitous steel pegs and look instead of modern, arty or vintage hooks

2.  Add innovative storage solutions like a jute bag to stash socks

3. Accessorise; add a colourful table cloth or a pillow message 

And as for your clothes- they belong in your laundry bag!
